Carl’s is the crown jewel of Fredericksburg as far as ice cream goes. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it gets national attention and still remains the local feel. The classic neon light sign will be sure to draw you in on a hot summer night!

This old fashioned donut shop is a staple for early morning commuters to stop in for a cup of coffee and delicious treats. Paul’s Bakery features everything from cupcakes, birthday cakes, cookies, pastries, and pies. Paul’s has been family owned and operated since 1973 making it the longest family owned and operated bakery in Fredericksburg!

While people come to the happy clam for their great southern fried seafood, they stay for the delicious homemade pies. Pat Moncure has been has been baking up some of the most sought after pies in the area since the restaurant opened in the seventies. Her most popular include, strawberry, coconut creme, chocolate peanut butter, and lemon meringue. Make sure to save room for a slice after your meal or take a whole pie home with you!
