Adolfo’s passion for food coupled with his wife’s strong entrepreneurial spirit gave rise to the concept of El Tepeyac – store and restaurant.
In 2010 El Tepeyac opened its doors in Charlottesville as a small Latin grocery store with a small take out area offering classic bites. In 2012, El Tepeyac expanded and opened up a full service restaurant rooted in natural made-from-scratch goodness using fresh ingredients and traditional seasonings to create rich flavors.
