2. Crabtree Falls
Crabtree Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Virginia. Made up of a series of cascading waterfalls, with five major cascades, Crabtree Falls is not one distinct drop.
3. Humpback Rock
Humpback Rock has a well maintained trail, and is named for the “hump” it creates on the western face of Humpback Mountain, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Waynesboro.
4. Loft Mountain Loop
Loft Mountain Loop is a good trail for all skill levels. It features a beautiful quiet campground.
5. Old Rag Mountain
Old Rag Mountain, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Sperryville. One of the most popular mid-Atlantic hikes, Old Rag has beautiful views and an exposed, rocky summit.
6. Riprap Trail
Riprap Trail is a moderate hike located near Crozet. The trail features hiking, rock climbing and camping spots.
7. Spy Rock

The view from Spy Rock gives an amazing 360 degree panorama, and a look at the Religious Range: The Priest, The Little Priest, The Friar, The Little Friar, and The Cardinal.
8. Walnut Creek Park
Walnut Creek Park not only has some great trails, but is also a fun place to go for swimming, canoeing, fishing and biking.
9. White Oak Canyon
Another trail located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, White Oak Canyon is one of the best waterfall hikes in Shenandoah National Park.
